The Nutrition Society is a British NGO which, in association with Cambridge University Press, is responsible for producing five peer-reviewed academic journals, and for organising seasonal conferences in Britain and Ireland for specialists in nutrition science. The brief for the Gazette was for a more informal ‘house magazine’carrying news of developments and events in the field, and features reflecting the experience of people working in the Society and partner organisations.
